>Winter Song (a funky English Version that version was basically my first introduction to DCT -- the video for it played as a special introduction to Sleepless in Seattle, which came out in December 1993 in Japan. (hey, doing a quick check I see that that movie was made by Tri-Star pictures, which ...

I didn't recognize some of the songs, which I now know were from the new CD. They did all three, Tsuretette Tsuretette, Almost Home and Middle of Nowhere. Miwa was so cute when she was whistling during Middle of Nowhere. They also did (not in this order, but as I remember them): Love Letter Snow Dan...

Just went to Winter Fantasia 2008 "The Live"

It was incredible! Obviously an emotional time for Miwa. As she was being lowered onto the stage with the band playing, she started crying and couldn't start singing until around half way through. After they finished, she apologized and asked the band to start the song over again and they did. David...

If you had a chance to meet Miwa...

...what would you say? Let's be real and say you have a 10-second window or something like that.

Johnny, I had seen that video you are talking about and just went searching for it. I finally remembered what it was. It's from Miwa's first solo album, Beauty and Harmony. The song is "Tsumetaku shinaide.' It was hard to find it because I can't type Japanese on this computer. Anyway, since I can't ...

Miwa's English

Obviously Miwa speaks English very well, but I've never heard her except on her songs. But, on Monkey Girl she speaks a little at the beginning and it sounds like she has a British accent. Has anyone heard her speak English? Does she have a British accent? Just wondering.

Sorry I've been away from here awhile. I still haven't found the "Monster" CD. I'll keep looking though. Thanks for the concert update. It is now time to see if there is any chance of getting tickets through my dubious connection. I'll keep you posted.

Actually, Nogizaka, I've gotten many of my DCT Cds at Book Off for 250 yen. I love that place. I'll check there first. I really want Monster though, so I wll pay full price if need be.

Miwa has a very honest singing voice, and you really don't get to hear her true voice much either when she is speaking in concert or (especially) in TV appearances. Tachikaze, you are right. When listening to Miwa sing you can tell she's got so much more in her. One of the reasons I love her so muc...

You're so right, Nogizaka. We have found the perfect band for us. I guess it's not my place to cram my musical tastes down other people's throats.

How's your Japanese?

I love DCT, but I can't understand the lyrics. :(
I was wondering if you all understand the songs well or just love the music like me.

Hello from Nikko

Hello Everyone, I’m a die-hard Dreams Come True fan from Minnesota, but now living in Nikko, Japan and I can’t tell you how happy I was to find fellow English-speaking DCT fans. I’ve known about and liked DCT for around 5 or 6 years now, but only as a very casual fan. My wife (Japanese) had a couple...
