tachikaze is correct. Masa is apologizing for reporting the incident because the media gave an approximate location for the break-in, despite his asking them not to publicize this information. He is afraid that other criminals will be attracted to that area, thinking security is lax. He congratulate...

I'm assuming you mean 'Mirai Yosouzu II'. This may be seen/heard on the 'Wonderland '91' and 'Wonderland '99 Natsu no Yume' concert videos/DVD's.

"Yes, it's me again... I've just returned from the isle of Chandelier..." Sorry, old ZZ Top flashback! The July wallpapers are up- sorry I didn't have them for you sooner, but "I've just returned from"- I won't put you through that again- sorry (I really am a sorry sort of fellow). Please see them a...

Well, it must be great to have a wonderful Japanese wife. Did I mention that my wife is simply THE BEST? I took her to the airport this morning, and I'm missing her already (I gave her my MP3 player loaded with the DCT albums [courtesy of you]- she was thrilled)! What do you know maybe you two migh...

She was talking about the cold, that it gets so cold like -30C so your face hurts and such things. Miwa was told that it would be very cold in Sweden, and to bring warm clothes, which she did. When she was there, the temperature was -15C. However, she learned that Ikeda it was -20C at the same time...

The kanji you showed reads "Ikeda-cho"- Ikeda ward (my wife tells me that Ikeda is really not so much a city as a part of Nakagawa-gun [county]- it's more like a town).

We'll have to take a look at the blog- my wife leaves for Japan on Monday!

If you absolutely, positively have to have it... I'm leaving for Japan on the 30th. I believe I have held every one of the singles in my hands at some point in the last couple of years- all for 100-500 Yen (some of them new, or at least shrinkwrapped). My usual criteria are tracks that are not on al...

I think you should keep on looking around- would you believe I got used (but undamaged) copies of 'Delicious' and the 'Seventh of July Sunny Day' soundtrack (with slipcover) at Newport News, VA's Japanese community booksale for $.50 U.S. each? Keep looking!

If the item is being sold by an individual, it could be shipped by them as well, but as you mentioned, Amazon Japan doesn't ship out of the country. If your friend was still there, then you could have it sent to them and they could ship it to you. Since that's no longer an option, maybe Yesasia will...

We recently bought a used copy of the 'Seventh of July Sunny Day' video using Amazon Japan, but it's waiting for us in Tokyo, so I can't tell you about it just yet. The system seems to work just like Amazon does here, though.

They have their own label now, but it is an affiliate of Universal Music, so they are still under a major label. I assume that Universal is not interested in promoting DCT in America, otherwise we would be seeing some releases. I don't know what kind of contract DCT has or how easy it would be for t...

Utada pretty much bombed in the U.S. (I know, she had a #1 Dance Club hit, but that's a niche market, and those clubbers who asked for her song then probably don't remember her now)- barely 20,000 units sold in 'Exodus''s initial release, and the singles didn't even appear on the Hot 100. Marketing ...

'amoretto' is a DCT cover band- that they are lookalikes is not addressed directly in the movie. I believe Koh did compose and play on the soundtrack. I got to see this with my wife when it opened in Shibuya, and some people around us were crying towards the end- Miwa and Masa give pretty good first...
