POWER PLANT

With the help of my wife and her Mother I have been able to join POWER PLANT. It appears that a Japanese mailing address is necessary in order to fill out the application form. I have received a special Diamond 15 magazine, a July newsletter, and a membership card with protector and a very nice Dori...

Live 8 Japan

It appears that Fuji TV will finally broadcast the Live 8 Japan concert today (August 13) at 11:00 pm Tokyo time. I hope someone will be able to record the concert and make it available for download (I hope Fuji will actually air it this time).

When my wife and I are arriving in/leaving Tokyo, my Mother-in-law uses Kan-Pachi-dori to take us to/from Ogikubo Station. She uses Kan-Nana-dori when we need her to take us to church in Koenji (and if she can drive in Tokyo, she could probably take us anywhere!).

SNOW DANCE- a brief walking tour of Daikanyama

Hello all: As per Tachikaze's recommendation, during our trip to Japan a few weeks ago, my wife and I visited Daikanyama to retrace, if possible, Miwa's footsteps in the video. If you have the video, you should be able to follow along by going to: http://groups.msn.com/SnowDanceDaikanyama The pictur...

I have just returned from Japan, and despite what Fuji TV stated about showing a Live 8 broadcast, I was unable to find to find a listing for it in the TV grids, nor did they show it at 10:00 pm on July 2d as stated on their website. The newspapers did not mention the concert the following day; howe...

Damn! My flight arrives at Narita at 3:15 pm that day! But it looks like Fuji TV will have a Live 8 broadcast at 10:00 pm- at least I might get to see DCT that way... Oh well...

Dreams Come True Winter Fantasia in IKSPIARI photos

Hello All: I was finally able to post a few photos my wife and I took last December at DCT Winter Fantasia in IKSPIARI at Tokyo Disneyland. Unfortunately, because of a combination of the lighting and my little digital camera, most of them did not come out. Rather than a disappointment, though, I hop...

Thanks for the map- it will make our trip that much more interesting. In America we are so used to having so much space and spreading everything out. In Japan, available space is maximized, making for some very attractive (as well as functional) homes and buildings. As for travel in cities, my wife ...

Daikanyama

According to the newly opened 'What Mee Mee Wants' site, there is a store in Daikanyama called 'Cor Blimey' (help me, British DCT fans) that will have some of the items featured to try on. One of the members of wmmw owns this store. It looks like most sales, though, will be through the site. Guess I...

I can't say I've been to any boring places in Tokyo- possibly because my visits are usually limited to ten days or so- but when I'm there, I can't pass up an opportunity to talk to the General. Just seeing that subway sign gives me a little chill. Aoyama cemetary is definitely a good walk, Harajuku ...

tachikaze, thank-you for the photo! I will be in Japan during the week of July 4th, so I will send you a photo of me on those stairs. I am also in the process of posting photos my wife and I took at Diamond 15 in IKSPIARI at Tokyo Disneyland, if msn acknowledges the user group that I (supposedly) cr...

My first DCT album/song

Hello Jei! I was introduced to DCT by my wife (who is Japanese). One evening, not long before we were married, she told me how lucky she felt to have met me. I told her she was my dream come true (I'm not making this up). She then proceeded to tell me about this Japanese band with a powerful female ...

"What Mee Mee wants"...

...appears to be a kind of on-line gift shop featuring items including clothing that Miwa endorses, and according to the note, some of her fans believe she is using/wearing. I guess it is not available yet, though.

Greetings!

Hello all: I have been listening to DCT for about two and a half years. I found DCTJoy when I first had access to a computer, about a year ago, but because I had limited access, I could only read, and not listen. I visit Japan at least once a year, so I have been able to acquire much of the DCT cata...
