Yes... I've mentioned this many times. Big fan of the Sonic music... it was my first exposure to Masato Nakamura's music. It's also been mentioned that [stop typing as i search Jei's site for title] "Kusuriyubi no Kesshin" from Million kisses is Star Light Zone and "Sweet Sweet Sweet" from The Swing...

I dont think anyone has a "good riddance" attitude. But, musically, he seemed to have very little effect on the group. And, as Jei said earlier in the topic... he's not even credited for playing keys on the later albums. It's a shame... I can't really see what he did during the last few years. I'd h...

piano/vocal score came this week (along with a polite little note from Doremi thanking me for buying their music). None of those vocals appear in the score.... infact, pretty much all the English backing vocals have been removed (like "Some day, I wont hide my heart....." from "Meganegoshi no Sora"....

Shame... it just doesn't sound the same. It looses half of its feeling. I think it's better when they replace what was synth brass in the original ("Sayonara o Matteru" comes to mind from DWL 99) with the real brass. I like the replaced Synth-brass chords throughout with Koh's piano aswell. I was ex...

It's very hard for me to choose a favourite album, theres songs on them all I like (even the Dreams Come True debut!) But if I was forced... Love Unlimited wouldn't be among them. Having said that I love Sweet Revenge. I listen to The Swinging Star and Wonder 3 a hell of a lot, so I think the...

well, I think being frontrow for the Sing Or Die concert would have been just as good if not better than the westcoast tour, since it was lot longer and had all the real backing Japanese players like Koh. In the unlikely event of me ever seeing DCT live, I must admit that I'd be rather disappointed...

actually i did a google search, yes, silly me, it was a film. I guess my confusion is... the soundtrack was ONLY DCT songs?? And why Masa's instrumentals? Are they bits of score? Track 18 sounds like a film score.

Seventh of July Sunny Day

Jei, Just arrived today... played all the Masa instrumentals! Wo! Some are very strange, but very cool! In particular I liked: MAX-M (One of the best) Open Sesame (Of course! One of the best) Junglia Vega to Altair Dai Nigakushou (another one of the best) Hibi no Omocha - that was quite amusing! Sou...

lol, yes the FTP news confrence skit was great! Couldn't understand a word, but I still laughed. Masa's fantastic dancing and drum imitations on DWL 2003. Ohtani Koh on his keyboard solo's on DWL 2003 and 1999 winter. Masa's long note on the end of Kelo Kelo on Children of the Sun. Miwa and Masa sin...

All the early albums were recorded here in the UK, when produced by Mike Pela. I read on the forums somewhere they picked up English during their time over here. Some of their early videos were shot in the UK and i rekon some of the photo shoots from the UK recorded albums were done here too. I reco...

tachikaze, I'm so envious!

I rekon it wouldn't be a bad idea for them to return to the UK and do a few shows with a propar attempted European launch since we never even had one.
