Sometimes, It's All About- confusion. That first verse talks about how well we think we know someone, and finding out differently. It doesn't mean we give up on that person, though. I liked what Miwa and Masa said on on the interview disc that came with 'Diamond 15' when asked what they thought abou...

'Crystal Vine' is listed as a bonus track- 'Kanon' is the ending track (and a pretty cool one at that).

Hello k3!

"Album versions" as opposed to "single versions" which may be very similar or very different- we often get nice surprizes from DCT in these different versions.

I for one would recommend listening to all the older albums- you won't be disappointed!

I can't fault your choice, folks- 'Mirai II' is DCT's epic, their longest track. Interesting that the three longest tracks ('Mirai II', 'Ginga e no Fune', and 'SPOON ME' [uh-huh, uh-huh] are also closers. These long songs, with their ascending finishes, of course make for powerful endings.

So what's your favorite ending?

Thanks to James for the inspiration. A good finish is as important as a good beginning- we see that some endings of DCT's albums are linked to the introduction of the next album (or that there is some kind of link between albums- thanks jentutu!). Since I am an album listener more than a song listen...

For tachikaze: I am not familiar with Dido, and have never heard this song, but based on the lyrical content, I believe that Miwa has already made a statement in this direction, with some help. The lyric to 'It's All About Love' would be DCT's equivalent. As for the performance, 'It's All About...' ...

I don't think that Miwa's phrasing in English is so much a problem as singing English lyrics written with an English-speaking "assistant" is, meaning that not all of the English versions are very close translations of the original Japanese. On some of these, Miwa is singing a different song, albeit ...

POWER PLANT PRESS SPECIAL interview with Miwa and Masa

(From February 2006) Interviewer: 2005 appeared to be another busy year for you. Looking back on it, how do you feel? Miwa: We did a lot of things. We appeared in many events, and DCT Garden Ikeda was opened. Masa: And Miwa started the brand ‘What Mee Mee Wants’. Mi: Yes, yes, it’s truly indy- so sm...

Hello cubdukat! Also interesting that Swing Out Sister lost their third member (although it was much earlier in their career than Niehya's leaving was in DCT's). The two bands are pretty much contemporary, SOS starting out a couple of years earlier than DCT. Corrine and Miwa do seem to have the same...

I don't care for it- neither the song (nor the lyric) is well-suited to an uptempo treatment like this. I don't think it is the right song selection for a Honda ad, either.

'The Love Rocks' Tour 2006 Show Pamphlet CM

Is up on DCT Garden, as well as the first tour diary entry. As with 'Diamond 15', there is a special "making of" DVD included.

Perhaps from the used clothing shops in Harajuku- they do a brisk business in old designer/logo stuff, and T-shirts are always a big item.
