Official release date is February 27th. No Limited Edition this time.

On one hand, an anime single has the potential to be a #1 but at the same time... both songs were already released on the album. I wonder how it will affect its sales.

I assume this artwork is by the 'One Piece' cartoonist.

According to DCT Garden, there will be a limited edition of the single which will include special stickers (!)

The single will include the voices of the characters (the chorus on the album version already has a cartoonish sound about it, so maybe they'll sing the chorus).

'Mata ne' is supposed to be DCT's official commencement song- my wife says high school graduation usually takes place in April in Japan.

The 'Mata ne' video clip is up on DCTgarden. I assume it is footage from the film- doesn't exactly seem to go along with the lyric, which is a young man hoping he will see his female high school classmate again after graduation.

A video clip was running on the 'news' page on Friday night, but now, I'm just seeing a blank space. They must be having some technical problem.

It takes a while to load...actually, I think it's a commercial for single.

It would make more sense if it was just a commercial. The clip is typical anime- stuff blowing up, monsters, crying- nothing to do with the lyric. Maybe the video will be different.

Having seen Jei's post of the single cover with the 'WMMW' ties, I showed it to my wife, who said the ties make them look like students, which fits the theme of the song.

I wear my tie whenever I can, but as of yet, no one has commented on it.
