Nakamura's record label confirmed that Maki is indeed pregnant, though the company declined to give any more details than that. Nakamura acknowledged the news reports in his own blog as well, but also said that he could give no more information at the moment.

The band is older than Maki!

21 means born in 1988. Too young to remember Showa Emperor or the bubble jidai. Life to her has been one big recession!

Nakamura announced the good news in his blog on Sunday. However, he did not say whether the child is a boy or a girl.

The couple surprised everyone last year when they got married in June after meeting each other only months before. This past April, it was announced that Maki was pregnant, and she returned to her home in Okinawa around the summer to prepare for the delivery. Nakamura has also been staying in Okinawa since late September to support her.
Congratulations to the two of them! :)

Anyone want to put some money into a collection for baby's first bass guitar? :)

She was, but sadly her husband passed away from cancer just a few days after Wonderland 2007.
