Masamania- DREAMS COME TRUE Original Instrumental Collection

Post by nogizaka » Sun Jan 03, 2010 2:16 pm

DCTGarden has announced that Masa will release an archive of rare material he has been collecting dating back to the start of DCT. No mention is made of a recording, so I wonder if this will be a songbook?

When the project is finallized, a date of availability wil be given.

According to DCTGarden, 'Masamania' will be a 55-track CD boxed set with booklet- "ultimate collection." More information to come...

As someone who was introduced to DCT through Masa's fine instrumentals, this excites me very much. :D

I wonder if they will be demos of DCT tracks we've heard, or if some will be completely original.

And of course, I can dream of hearing demos of Sonic music...

A 'Masamania' page is now up on DCTGarden, with release date, track lists, and price- a bit beyond my means, at this time. See it at:

If I did get it right, they got the original masters of all songs from the albums "Diamond 15" to "Dori Suru?" then muted the vocals *and* back vocals. Since their singles never had karaoke tracks on them.

This is way beyond cool. Not only getting to hear Masa's fine arrangements but being able to sing along to my favorite tunes. A bit off my price range too but still a very cool release.

I loved that promo picture! :D

But I thought it was supposed to go back to the early days of DCT? :(

Oh well, this is still pretty cool. I loved the promo pic, too.

On the subject of Masa instrumentals. I really like the one on the second Clips Menu page of the DCT Clips V1 DVD (Yeah I know, really obscure). it's a long shot, but anyone know what it's called?
