"Ikite yuki no desu" I would say is something in the lines of "keep on living" but I'm having a hard time to translate it to English. By its title I can see it is related to Nee's lyrics. It will be interesting to hear both songs.

DVD has footage of Winter Fantasia 2009! ^^ YAY! More DCT live, we are finally going to hear "Nocturne 001" live. The rest of the set list is similar to last year's Winter Fantasia.

Wow, I wasn't expecting to see another single release, especially a week after Nee! But it's cool, it'll be interesting to hear what this song will be like.

I had a little doubt it was in a context of "we keep on living" more than "I" but I can see it now. I'm not feeling too hot about my Japanese studying lately, it seems like I'm not making any progress.

After hearing the full version of "Nee" it ends with this line "Kanarazu kokoro kara waraeru hi wa yattekuru kara". Quoting a bit of the previous line it states "it will be alright because the day I will laugh sincerely again will come". So I think the lyrics for this song will be tied up with "Nee". ^^

We need a decent translation of "Nee". I was blown away by the lines I can actually understand!

Has anyone seen the PV of "Ikite Yuki no desu"? I like it how Masa and Miwa are so darn cute together. ^^ So I really really liked this video. And I liked the song too!!!!

I've seen it! I really like the song.

The video is clever and interesting, and reminds me of Nandodemo's (which is one my favourites) so it's nice to see them recapturing a bit of that.

I only have 2 questions, though.

Did they watch an all-night marathon of Smurfs before coming up with the idea? =P

And whose face is that on Masa's shirt?

Where did you find the PV? All I can find is places to buy the CD, and the JPS download was a file that wouldn't play.

Google the romaji title - it'll probably be the second result.

I'm not sure how much I like this song; it's almost outside Miwa's range. It is uptempo and optimistic, though. Nice to see Miwa is keeping her chin up. The PV is very busy (my wife said it was exhausting to watch!) and I can't say I know what they're getting at, but it is certainly "Iki-iki"!

I noticed Miwa's voice sounded a bit strained on their 20th anniversary concert. In some songs like 24/7, you can notice it more. She has a long enough range she could have singed this song with high notes but in a more comfortable range. It is normal that with age that your voice doesn`t go as high.

As for the single, it grew fast on me. I watched the PV a few times to try to see EVERYTHING that was going on there. ^^ I find myself liking the song more each time I listen to it. I would like to hear it live, I think it will sound better!
