A new song was revealed called "Ai ga Tadoritsuku Basho". Looks like it's going to be an "image song" to the Mister Donuts stores starting in January. (the description on DCT's site says "new donuts song", but that seems silly. ^^;.) The song will also be available on iTunes Japan on January 25th.

On the popular video site, there is clips of "All Night Nippon" with DCT. There is a clip of the cover of Carole King's You've Got A Friend sung by Miwa. She did a much better job than I expected. I LOVE the original and I loved it.

They also played their new song!!! It is a pretty cheerful song. It is certainly not as crazy as "Ikite Yuku no Desu". I must confess that since I got all at once the The Live 2010 / Pocari on the mail the same day I managed to download Wonderland 2011... by the time I was hearing it on the third concert, it was getting on my nerves!

Now back to "Ai ga Tadoritsuku Basho", I DO like it but I think it will grow on me. At first hearing it twice, nothing in the song stands out. Which doesn't mean it is bad.

ai = love
ga = (particle denoting 'ai' as the subject)
tadoritsuku = to struggle onto, to claw over
basho = place

So "Love Finds Its Place" or "Love Will Find A Way"?

^_^ Still, very upbeat and happy. I like the bouncy beat and the harmonies, they remind me of the older DCT stuff. I don't care what it's a picture song for. :3 (Though donuts are awesome.)

I wonder when the single's going to come out. Do you think it'll be a DL only like "Godspeed" or actually have a disc release like "Nee" or "Ikite Yuku no Desu"?

Literally, "The place love eventually reaches after all," so 'Love Finds Its Place' is not too far off (and would be a better single title). It would be nice if they released it soon!

How about "The Ultimate Destination of Love"?
It's hard to translate Japanese into English, even into Chinese.
I just try to follow it like "The Signs of Love"
Does anyone have good idea for it?

Ai ga Tadoritsuku Basho is going to be a single. Two other songs will be on it too. It's going to be released in May.

The single's info has changed. The second new song is called MY TIME TO SHINE and is now the main song of the single. It's also the theme song for a commercial that Miwa will take part in. The third song of the single is also going to have a tie-up.

The Limited Edition of the single will have PVs for MY TIME TO SHINE and Ai ga Tadoritsuku Basho as well as Jikan Ryokou as a bonus track (probably because of the mention of 2012 in it.).

The single's going to be released on May 16th.


Wow, that was a lot. lol. This looks like it's going to be quite a single.


EDIT: CDJapan lists an "External Bonus" for the Limited Edition: "Yoshida Miwa x FANCL special mini photo book". Interesting.

"Triple Tie-up Single".

An example: Ai ga Tadoritsuku Basho has been used in commercials for Mister Donut. That's called a tie-up. (or, a song being used for a show or movie.)

All three songs on the single are going to be used in something.

That makes sense.

So we're getting three promotional songs essentially, along with a remastered version if Jikan Ryokou. I wonder if it will be completely redone like Mirai Yosouzu I & II were for the A·i·shi·te·ru no Sign single...

The other "untitled" song of the single was revealed now. It's called "Souzou wo Koeru Ashita e". It doesn't look like it'll have a tie-up (Odd, I thought it was said before it was going to have one?), but it is going to have a PV.

So, all three songs are going to have PVs. That's cool, a bit surprising too. They've always had just one song as a PV in their singles.

Glad we can get all three PVs in the limited release
