DCT Score

Post by James » Fri Nov 07, 2003 12:53 pm

I was looking at an archive version of this website and one of the news headlines was that the score book was out for MGO.... where the hell is this available from!!??

I'm guessing it was for piano/vocal?

I would want this more than the new DVD's!! :D :D :D

amazon.co.jp has several piano score books:

book 1:

http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/ASI ... 50-6870725

has 12 piano scores, apparently (they're on the cover image but too fuzzy).

book 2:

http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/ASI ... 50-6870725

also has 12 listed:

Soudayo
Miraiyosouzo II
Romance
LLL
Haretara ii ne
etc.

If you can handle the japanese it's really easy to get stuff from them. I ordered a CD last week and got it this week, for just Y900 shipping -- cheaper than driving up to S.F. almost.

Thanks Tachikaze...

I'm going to be really picky and ask, does anyone know where the Monkey Girl score is? The main reason I ask is that I know the songs for this album (i'm still pretty new to DCT) and dont know many of their older tracks... yet!

Does a sing or die one exist?

Thanks guys.... I'm spoilt for choice now!

That piano compilation looks great, shame Song of Joy isn't there.... I'd have got it for sure had it been in there. How is the book scored? Piano solo as in, the lyrics don't appear? I'm guessing if the lyrics are there, it's under the piano score (as in 'Easy Piano' style) and not as a seperate vocal line?

I'll be getting one of those three sometime soon... birthday treats!

Thanks
James

The lyrics are there. Both with the score (inbetween the treble & bass clefs) as well as on their own separate page.

"Yume de Atteru kara" is the original Japanese version of Song of Joy ^_^
AH, I see! I can't speak a word of Japanese, so I wouldn't have known that one!

I still cant decide which ones to get... just have to get all 3 I think! The piano compilation and MGO will probably be firsts.

Thanks for showing me that, Jei, and thanks to Tachikaze for the Amazon links.

Actually, I miswrote, James....'Yorokobi no uta' is Song of Joy, not "Yume.." (DOH!)

Yeah, that book is missing Song of Joy ^^

yea, I was wondering how it went from "Because We're Meeting in Dreams' to 'Song of Joy'...of course, someone could be joyful in dreams...
