"So Dayo" Single CD Extra

Post by James » Wed Feb 11, 2004 2:23 pm

"So Dayo" /"Sou da yo" [whatevers rite] Single CD Extra wont work on my mac. As soon as I click on it it goes black and then an error with jibberish pops up and it closes. I'm guessing the jibberish is meant to be Japanese.

I know this isn't a technical support forum but... Any ideas? Anyone else with this cd have problems?

*laugh* I've been through that too :)

You won't be able to play it....I tried it on Windows 98, Windows XP, Mac OS 9 & Mac OS X....with higher level shockware (i think) software than is necessary...no go...at all...

Maybe if you find an old Windows 95 machine that hasn't been touched in a while....^^

Fortunately, if you go and explore the folders on the disc, you'll find the two music videos that would have been played if the CD-Extra worked. ^^
(The 'Sweet Revenge' video is tite! ^_^)

You need to change the settings on your Mac so you can see hidden files. There's a directory on the disk called 'Movies' that has what you're looking for. :)

If you have Mac OS X, then you can use a program called Cocktail to alter the setting:

Dunno what you'd need for Mac OS 9, but I'm sure there's something out there for it...

Thanks, Jei. Will give it a try later tonight... I do have Mac OS X, so hopefully should do the trick

UPDATE: Got them working!
