This is my first try ever to translate a lyric and I hope I can learn from my mistakes. Finally lyrics started to make sense! Yay!

Sayonara

Sayonara - I'm never going to meet you again
Sayonara - Without your girlfriend (?)

Spring sneaks out of the city - searching for the morning glow
Alternatively sitting in a narrow passager seat (I understood this line but I can't make the translation sound right)
The three of us filled up your car
We were always together like this - *loving* each other wasn't unnnatural to us
I thought you understood your girlfriend's feelings

* I know that koi suru means fall in love. Does koi wo suru mean something else?

Sayonara - You became an evil person
Sayonara - I won't meet you twice (?)

The midsummer beach reflects the hot sunlight
Our bare feet got burnt (?) <- I couldn't understand what テトラ can possibly mean
You probably don't share your feelings
告白は彼女の勇気(didn't understand this part) It gave me strengh

If we could work things out - shedding the same tears would be my recompense

Sayonara - I don't understand you no more
Sayonara - I won't meet you twice (?)

Sayonara - Even you didn't have a girlfriend

I must say, translating in two foreign languages take an amazing amount of brain power. If anyone feels like pointing out my mistakes please do so. I will really appreciate.

Initial pass; I'll do more later. . .

1) kanojo-nashi-de-wa . . . hmmm, "[you can] be without a girlfriend. . ." perhaps

2) XYZ-suru, properly formulated, always takes the -wo, but can be dropped when casual

3) ni-do-to awanai. . . I won't meet/see you again

4) tetora -- when you see a weird word, I find google image sometimes search helps.

(but having seen enough 'tetora' in J-TV shows I knew what it was)

5) kokuhaku-wa kanojo-no-yuuki watashi-ga motte-nakatta yuuki.

This is difficult for me, too. that last is '...that I didn't have'. . . mebbe "her brave confession, was braver than me" or something.

At the end, the first SAYONARA is I /can't/ meet (aenai), the rest are I won't meet (awanai)

My wife says #5 would be read:

"I didn't have the courage to make the confession (of love) that she did."

Thanks to Tachikaze and Nogizaka. Any help is welcome. Lyrics are finally starting to make sense but I know it will take some more years down the road studying.

Actually, thinking back it took me so long to understand English lyrics as well. About 5+ years studying on my own. Now if I can just forget for a moment I have been studying Japanese for 6+ years (on my own)...

Even if you have a precise translation, it still may not make sense, depending on the lyricist. Luckily Miwa is someone who is fairly straightforward with her lyrics (my wife says the songs we've heard Ayumi Hamasaki perform don't make much sense, but it's art, right?).
