Miwa's English

Obviously Miwa speaks English very well, but I've never heard her except on her songs. But, on Monkey Girl she speaks a little at the beginning and it sounds like she has a British accent. Has anyone heard her speak English? Does she have a British accent? Just wondering.

We think Miwa's English accent comes from working in London with producer Mike Pela on a number of DCT's albums.

No Joke I saw a video on youtube I think it's been deleted dct were on a show and masa said somethig in english and he sounded like kinda british the rest was in japanese.

I had seen that video you are talking about and just went searching for it. I finally remembered what it was. It's from Miwa's first solo album, Beauty and Harmony. The song is "Tsumetaku shinaide.' It was hard to find it because I can't type Japanese on this computer. Anyway, since I can't give you link here, just search for it on YouTube.
How could anyone be cold to Miwa anyway?
