newrynyuk wrote:Now, back to my original post. What did Miwa say at the tearful end of the Wonderland 2003? And what did Masa say in reply that got such a laugh?
I'm going by memory here: she was saying that they were "full" of fun, great times and memories... then Masa said they had so much to eat so that was why they were "full" - err, it sounds a lot funnier in Japanese. But it was even funnier when he ask everyone to drive home safely, they were going home from the Wonderland so they had to be extra careful. And asked everyone to call once they got home so he'd know they arrived safely. ^^

Newrynyuk, I'm glad you had a great time. I can't wait to read your report!

newrynyuk wrote:Well, since I started this thread because I wanted to go to Wonderland 2007. It's only right that I post and say that I did indeed go!

I was at yesterday's show at the Fukuoka Yahoo! Japan Dome and had an excellent time. A full report will follow sometime next week when I return home. Suffice to say, MY dream has come true.
Fantastic! Glad to see you were able to get your tickets :)
Looking forward to the review!

(1 down...3 to go ^^)

I've (allegedly) got tickets but the total cost is giving me cold-feet!

$900 for the plane ticket, ~$1500 for a week's expenses, and the real killer is the burned vacation time . . . pushing $5000 just to see a concert!

(having lived in Tokyo 1992-2000 I have no great need to spend a week there, and a week isn't enough to spend any quality time in the places I want to see . . .)

There's an outside chance my company will be sending me to Tokyo next month . . . if I could score that I'll be styling. . . . otherwise I might have to pass on this :(

Only $900 for the plane tickets? The chepest airfair from Sao Paulo to Tokyo is $2000. But those are tickets you can't pick the day you will be going plus I think you would be placed on the luggage compartment. ;)

What depresses me the most is the fact that minimum wage being $150 a month, if I finally get a job soon and stop spending in futile stuff like food... I might have enough money to go in 2011. *sigh* Oh well, there is always their DVDs to watch.
