We're going to go in the Spring if Japan removes the visa requirement they have for Americans right now.

Looks like the US visa requirement ended Oct 11

A visa is still required; the October 11th update only waives one of the documents needed to apply.

Jei, you are correct; my wife called the Japanese embassy and found out the visa requirement has been waived as of October 11th.

Documentation of Covid-19 vaccinations and boosters or a negative test result within 72 hours of arrival is still required at this time.

Fellows, the Rapids, Special Rapids, and Expresses are no good if they don't stop where you want to go. That's what those Locals are for.

And it's so much easier flying in and out of Haneda (you CAN take a cab, but the airport express bus is even easier: the one Express you'll always want to take).
