I'm amazed she's coming back to the stage this fast. Our thoughts and prayers need to be with Miwa during these tough times. This is a time when all of us DCT fans need to show our support in whatever ways are possible.

Puffy review

Saw Puffy at Slims last Thursday. The venue is VERY small. Smaller than some bars in my home town of Manteca! I think it may hold a few hundred if you pack everyone wall to wall...but that didn't happen on this occasion. Maybe 3/4 full. Almost totally older white males with a sprinkling of very youn...

Well, the Puffy show in San Francisco is in 2 days. The venue has changed to Slims, a popular night club owned by blues guitarist Boz Scaggs. Should be interesting since the reviews I've read so far make Slims seem like an even more intimate venue than The Fillmore. Will report back with findings an...

Only one problem...does anyone here get wowow? Also, is it me or do those pics look more like the Sunday 9/23 show? It's too cloudy to be 9/22. I hope we get to see at least some of 9/22 on the DVD, although I'll buy it no matter what. Saturday was such a wonderful bright sunny day.

DWL 2007 on WOWOW?!

Check out Masa's blog! It says something about WOWOW! and something about DWL 2007. Are they airing the concert on TV? These are the times when my poor Japanese skills really get under my nerves!

In regards to spoilers...maybe stuff in the middle of the concert is safe, but I really think everyone should wait to see the way the concert begins and ends. Those have to make the DVD or it won't make sense. Trust me, seeing this entrance without expecting it makes a HUGE impact. Oh and to quote J...

Actually, if he was only hospitalized starting in August, I believe Aishiteru No Sign was already written prior to that, so it's unlikely that it was written about his death. It very well may be written about him though. My Japanese is so poor that I really couldn't tell you the song's true meaning.

Tickets for Puffy in San Francisco go on sale tomorrow. Wow. What a concert year this is turning out to be for me! 3 HUGE concerts in one year (admittedly 1 wasn't J-pop).
