You don't want to miss it. Last year's performance of Yasashii Kisu o Shite was simply stupendous. I'll bet they hit another home run

Yay! 8) DCT on Kouhaku!!! I think they gonna perform Nando Demo on the show but I wish they'd perform Jet instead. Not sure if anyone else thinks the same way...?! :?

By the way, I couldn't really figure on Music Station's site but I think DCT will perform on the 2005 Super Live. Could anyone please check the page out?

Cheers,

I just saw on the link that Jei provided that DCT will perform "Nando Demo ~Kouhaku Special Version~". Good! I wonder what the special version is all about. 8)

If I got the timezones right (probably not because of the DST) Music Station is airing this very moment. Maybe if I wish hard enough, Santa will teleport me to Japan. :P

Before I forget: Merii Kurisumasu, mina-san! Merry Christmas! Feliz Natal!

I'll be uploading DCT performance to JPOP Suki tonight. I'm finally getting the whole show to watch, it is 2.3 GB also available on JPOP Suki.

Oh my! This year's performance of Yasashii Kisu o Shite puts last year's to shame. It never seize to amaze how DCT can change their songs like that. Much like what they recently did with Winter Song for Jet's single...

Nando Demo performance is the best I've seen so far. Better than Diamond 15's which used to be my favorite.

I liked the change from traditional Japanese dress (at the beginning of the show) to the red (burgandy?) ruffly outfits they had for the acutal performance.

For those who haven't seen it, Miwa & Masa (only) perform Yasashii kiss o shite with Masa performing simply, but elegantly on the bass guitar. Talk about a fabulous way to showcase the power of song, as well as Miwa's own power. This version should absolutely be put to wax. :)

Once they performed the shortened version of 'Yasashii'...they went right into 'Nando demo'. The regular cast were there (Rin, Koh, MC)...definitely a stronger performance than in SuperLive the week before.
(Was it just my imagination, or was Rin's mic too high at the beginning of 'Nando'?)

Side Note: On the JPop boards that I frequent, most people (non DCT fans) seem to mention DCT's performance as one of the best from the show. :)

I finally got to watch Kouhaku. I thought the Special Version of 'Yasashii kiss' was very good... wished it would have been longer (I guess that was the 'Warwick Thumb Bass' they showed on DCTgarden that Masa was playing). On 'Nando demo' I thought someone was a bit loud on the chorus- Masa I believe, but his performance was so enthusiastic it's forgivable. MC Marse's rap seemed a little out of sync- one of the problems they may have with adding something new, especially on a live performance. Still, in the words of the host, "Dorikamu nee!"

Rin's mic position was sort of off, but that wasn't bad compared with what happened to WaT (almost put the one fellow's eye out when they set them back up)!

My wife and I wish Miwa would stay away from big, baggy/flowing outfits that sort of envelop her, but that seemed to be a problem with many of the performers' costumes- Miwa's too cute (even at 40!) to be hiding herself.

This performance on Kouhaku is not to be missed. Yasashii Kisu o Shite was soooooo beautiful, sometimes it is almost silly that after all this years Miwa's voice *still* amazes me so much. :)

By the way, I wanted to let you guys know that I'm uploading some DCT videos to YouTube. I figured it is a good place to people to get to know the band... anyhow, if you guys want to check:

wow, youtube is awesome. Got to see x-japan's "final live". I saw it on TV back in '98 but it's great seeing it again. x's big break came in the late 80s before I got to Japan, so they were off the radar for me until Hide offed himself (Hide's massive funeral was in Tsukiji, which was on my way to work back then). Yoshiki's solos in the "final live" were either great theatre or amazing performance, or perhaps both. Anyhoo, fun, fun concert.
