Question on Lyrics

Post by sdankoehler » Tue Feb 24, 2004 8:25 am

I've had this question on my mind for a while, but never bothered to ask it. Does anyone know what the english line in the background of "Ureshii! Tanoshii! Daisuki!" is? "I really...something........it feels so good...??? I think I know the end of it, but I could be wrong.

dunno but listening to the intro over and over I discovered how cool their harmony is, and I'd have loved to be in the studio when she was singing the "b~e a~s o~ne!" ending

After listening to it many times, I believe it is:

"I really love you, and you know, I'd swear that you and I should meet. It feels so good, and I'm sure that we were meant to be as one."

Doesn't exactly make sense, but I've seen much worse English in other Japanese songs.

Hi guys

I've looked at the score and the lyrics printed are...

"I really love you and you know it was fate that you and i should me. it feels so good and im sure we were meant to be as one"

yes it does say "should me" in the printed music! Maybe that should be "be"?? Sounds like "meet" on the record.

That makes more sense, James. Thanks for the clarification. I wonder if the difference between the score and vocal track was just a matter of Miwa, Masa, and Niehya's level of English reading/pronunciation at that point? But one would think Mike Pela would be coaching them on something like that. Interesting... I'll keep listening.

It's a good point. I'd have thought Pela would have stepped in and made things make sense.
