I just heard Can't Get Enough Of Your Love, Babe by Barry White. Once it gets going, it sounds a whole bunch like "Eyes To Me".

Barry White's got a nice voice, and he's apparently another of Masa's influences. I'll have to listen to some more, 'cos I quite liked this one.

Sorry for double post I found a possible inspiration for the English version of Love Love Love. I was on YouTube looking for a cover of it by artist Eric Martin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySEkksZmhxM.

Somebody said in the comments it sounds like the start of a song called For the Peace of All Mankind by Albert Hammond if you listen around 17 seconds onwards it kinda sounds like that song :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pw7OGcBnD40

It was released in 1973 on this album :https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Free_ ... 28album%29 isn't Masa a fan of 70s music or more funky stuff I dunno.

Also unrelated Eric Martin does a cover of Winter Song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-AbHkDwui0
and Boyz II Men lol : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hamjVvr13Mo

They sure do sound alike.

Hammond was very popular and prolific in the 70's (and beyond), so I wouldn't be surprised if Masa was familiar with him. My Hammond favorite would have to be 'The Free Electric Band;' friends of mine loved 'I'm A Train' (also pretty cool).

Masa's very much a 70s music fan and you can hear it in their music, especially the earlier tracks...
He's a big huge Earth, Wind & Fire fan too :)

It's also interesting in reading his blog whenever he shows off some of his favorite music....saw a pic with a bunch of Stevie Wonder's albums recently. :) There's even a horns tribute in "Kessen wa Kin'youbi" to Cheryl Lynn's 1978 "Got to be Real" :)

Thanks for the heads up on Boys II Men! I knew they had worked with Japanese artists, but I didn't realize they had put out a cover album of Japanese music. (Came across Debbie Gibson's Japanese cover album recently...I should be more on the lookout for them...)

I found some more possible possible inspirations for certain songs from this link the only new information is songs that could of inspired sweet sweet sweet.
http://hvymetal.com/143987.html

Here are some songs with similar style kinda to sweet sweet sweet with the string piano rim shot sound not sure about the heart band song though.

The Stylistics - You make me feel brand new : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJm51jsRoo0
Donny Hathaway - Someday We'll All Be Free : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cv1B0ejhFVE
Heart - All I Wanna Do Is Make Love To You : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAfxs0IDeMs

I can see some possible inspirations in the first two songs.

according to a google translate english translation of the web page.

SWEET SWEET SWEET / The Swinging Star

Stylistics-The intro is very similar to You make me feel brand new.
Also, the
chorus is too similar to someday we'll all be free by Donny Hathaway .

The chorus is
a refrain for Heart's All i want to do make love to you .
Masa and Miwa and Takahiro too
now a duo dreams come true. :)
