i've been catching up on past TV appearances, wondering if this anecdote's been shared yet about a line in 晴れたらいいね:

"the bridge that sinks into the river-bottom when it rains" is based on a real one in Miwa's hometown:

My wife says that the bridge is far enough outside of town to need a car to get to it... one reason we did not look for it when we visited Ikeda. Other places Miwa mentions in other songs, like the elm tree in 'Eyes To Me' and the beach in 'Hoshizora ga Utsuru Umi' are kind of far away, and not that easy to get to.
