History of Sonic the Hedgehog

Post by sdankoehler » Sat Aug 17, 2013 10:20 pm

Hi guys...Just saw this recently on youtube. It's the first time I've seen a sonic documentary where they actually mention Masa. Not only that, but they interview him rather extensively. Only problem is they REALLY butcher the pronunciation of his name.

This is not only the first time I've seen a Sonic documentary include Masa, but also the first time I've seen an interview with him completely in english.

For those of you who are more interested in the parts that include Masa, his sections start at 9:00 and again at 30:27.

Thanks for that link, SDan!

I finally got around to getting Sonic soundtrack 1&2
(Found it for a reasonable price on CD Japan, as opposed to the $60+ that eBay folks were trying to sell it for)

The liner notes have a great interview with Masa (plus profile...both in Japanese & English) :)
