...what would you say? Let's be real and say you have a 10-second window or something like that.

If I could keep my wits about me, I think I would say, "I think you are most beautiful with long straight hair," but probably my mind would go blank and I would mutter something like, "I love your new single." In my lifetime, I have yet to meet any kind of celebrity.

I'd ask her if songs were easier for DCT to write & develop in the 80s or now.

Seems that she sketched out what she wanted so say early, and hit their peak by the mid-90s . . . after a while it's got to be tough to go to the well & not repeat yourself or somebody else.

OTOH, technology has certainly improved from the 80s so the actual act of creating music can be a lot more efficient now.

First of all..."THUD" (sound of my lifeless body hitting the pavement)...but seriously...I'm not sure...I'd probably just thank her for all her wonderful music.

I'd ask her how did she learn english so well? What did you think of your MGO West Coast US Tour? You're really beautiful and talented! Can we chat over a bite to eat? 8)

I'd probably say, "Where's you're alligator? Please inflate it calmly!" because I'm just that bad with Japanese.

Seriously, though. I guess I'd want to ask which DCT tracks were written before the band was formed, what the process was like for arranging them, and how it felt to have them transformed from personal objects into the polished album tracks that went out into the world. I'd also want to talk about the mechanics of writing lyrics in Japanese versus English (how English songwriting is more based on rhyme, and Japanese on concatenated complementary syllables), and how each might be strengthened by experimenting with the other.

Oh, and I'd want to know if she played any Sonic games even after DCT stopped being involved. :)

I remember when I met Al Pacino, I was literally thinking over and over: "Don't say anything stupid. Don't say anything stupid. Don't say anything stupid."

In a 10-second window, I'd keep it simple and thank her for her music.
In a 20-second window, I'd say something nice about her doggies. (Hint: that will probably buy you another 30 seconds.)
