It was incredible! Obviously an emotional time for Miwa. As she was being lowered onto the stage with the band playing, she started crying and couldn't start singing until around half way through. After they finished, she apologized and asked the band to start the song over again and they did.
David T. Walker, who played on Beauty & Harmony 2, was the special guest guitarist. I had never heard of him, but loved that he was there because Masa and Miwa kept speaking English to him.
Miwa and Masa spent time between each song talking and I loved their back and forth. Very entertaining. My Japanese isn't good enough to know all that they were saying, but, I loved it anyway. She has such charisma. Had the whole crowd eating out of her hands.

I didn't recognize some of the songs, which I now know were from the new CD. They did all three, Tsuretette Tsuretette, Almost Home and Middle of Nowhere. Miwa was so cute when she was whistling during Middle of Nowhere.
They also did (not in this order, but as I remember them):
Love Letter
Snow Dance
Winter Song (a funky English Version and the regular Japanese version)
They finished with Love, Love Love, but didn't go into Nando demo
'Geez. I can't remember more. Give me bit and I'll think about it some more.

that version was basically my first introduction to DCT -- the video for it played as a special introduction to Sleepless in Seattle, which came out in December 1993 in Japan.
(hey, doing a quick check I see that that movie was made by Tri-Star pictures, which is a subsidiary of Columbia, which was owned by . . . Sony, DCT's label at the time . . . naruhodo!)

That was the first time I heard DCT too. Bought the single and loved "Sweet Dream" more than "Winter Song." Really fell in love with her voice than, but it took years before I really became a fan.tachikaze wrote:>Winter Song (a funky English Version
