POCARI SWEAT 30th SPECIAL LIVE

Post by nogizaka » Tue Apr 20, 2010 8:22 pm

Beginning October 2nd, 2010, DCT will perform nineteen shows at ten venues to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of Japan's most popular sports drink. Fuzzy Control will open for them. For dates and venues, go to:

I wonder if they will have a new album out by then...

I'm not sure how these things are viewed in Japanese culture, but isn't going on tour to celebrate a soft drink a little cheesy? They'd probably be accused of selling out, in America.

Oh well. New DCT concerts can't be a bad thing, though.

This does appear to be the most blatently commercial move DCT has made; on the other hand, I guess that it's just the wave of the future, just another way of saying "Pocari Sweat presents Dreams Come True".

I can picture the kind of faces Miwa would make while drinking something called 'Pocari Sweat'.

Pocari Sweat is actually pretty good. They have it at my market and it's kind of like lemonlime gatorade. n.n

I guess you're right, Yuki; I was actually able to drink an entire (free) 500ml bottle after the concert. Of course, I was quite dehydrated, but that is what it is supposed to be for. I still doubt Miwa would care for it.
