The Theme of Wonderland 2011 is "We will take care of all of your loves."
Twelve shows have been announced: two each in Sapporo, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Osaka, Tokyo, and Okinawa. The dates for Sapporo have not been set; at present, the tour will run from the beginning of August to the end of September. Still no ticket info, but the site has been updated; go to:

Hi !!
Thanks for the info.
I was wondering if maybe they will have some "normal" concerts before the Wonderland. I say this because I'm planning to visit Japan in 2011, in April or May. Being able to see a concert of DCT would be amazing. Of course the Wonderland would be better but I don't think I can go in August...
BTW Happy new year to all of you!

Since DCT is using Winter Fantasia to showcase the new album, and the Wonderland dates are set, they may not consider squeezing a tour in between now and August, or they need to announce it soon. They are doing TV appearances though, and will probably want to do some promotional work as the Wonderland gets closer; you might get lucky and be in-country when one takes place. We've missed at least a couple of shows just because of vacation timing.
Thank you very much. If I'm lucky maybe I'll be able to go In August, I'll see if I can do something about it...nogizaka wrote:Since DCT is using Winter Fantasia to showcase the new album, and the Wonderland dates are set, they may not consider squeezing a tour in between now and August, or they need to announce it soon. BTW, I have a question for those who have been in a J-pop concert: can you enter the concert with a photo camera? in case you can't, do they check your bag to see if you carry a camera?

I'm going to team up with some friends in Japan to see if I can get good seats. I don't mind paying extra, but I don't want to go all that distance form America just to be in the top tier of the stadium looking at little tiny Miwa and Masa dots-!
For those of you who have gone to Wonderland before, how close to the stage were you?

Take a look at these two topics for various peoples thoughts on the 2007 concert, complete with pictures from where I was sitting.

To be honest I wouldn't worry too much about seating position, just go, you won't regret it, I didn't.
Quite often they generally find a way to wander around the arena area so everyone gets a good look at them.
Now that looks like a nice stadium for a concert http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ajinomoto_Stadium

Hokkaido (dates to be posted by the end of the month) @ Sapporo Dome
Kyushu -- Fukuoka Aug 6/7 @ Yahoo! Jp Dome
Tokai -- Nagoya Aug 27/28 @ Nagoya Dome
West Japan -- Osaka Sep 3/4 @ Nagai Stadium
East Japan -- Chofu Sep 17/18 @ Ajinomoto Stadium
Okinawa -- Sep 23/24 @ Okinawa Ginowan City Seaside Park Outdoor Stage
Been to Chofu once, it's about an hour by train out from Shinjuku, just about the edge where Tokyo turns into countryside.
Never been to Okinawa. . . hmm. The Ginowan Stage looks pretty cool, it is indeed a seaside stage and the seating is pretty intimate . . .

(video is about a protest held there but you can see the place)
