Love it! Thanks for the set list :)
Now I have a new playlist for my phone ;)

Were most of the songs played fully (or close to it)? (or more the shorter medley style?)

The only one that felt shortened by a lot was Yuki no Christmas, the rest seemed pretty fullish

Back home from a great trip!

The show was AWESOME. I had no idea how huge was the scale of things. People flying, stages moving, amazing. For some reason I never watched videos of their lives (I think only one, don't remember which) and I was completely blown away - but I can't tell if this specific show was that awesome or that's just regular for them

IIRC most songs were played fully or close to fully.

Dreams Come True is always amazing live. They can put on an amazing spectacle for things like Wonderland, and yet also put on intimate performances that are beyond belief! It's hard to say which is better, as I saw the spectacular production of DWL 2007 in a giant stadium, but also a simply awe inspiring show in a night-club setting at the Fillmore in San Francisco in 2002. I really can't decide what's better. DWL, or having them practically at arm's length. :)

Glad you arrived home safely and enjoyed yourself Jinn :D

The Wonderland stages have been huge and impressive all the way back to 95, the 2003 stage was a little low key but it was set up in the middle of a park rather than a stadium/arena, you can read more on that one here http://forum.dctjoy.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=133 and they have been getting a lot more adventurous with the wire work recently though, you should really watch some more of them :)

As for comparing a big stadium performance with 10's of thousands of people with a small night-club setting with just 100's I'm not sure you can. They both have pros and cons, true I got within meters of Miwa in NY in 2011, but on the other hand you just don't get the same atmosphere as you do singing along with 10's of thousands of others

Long time no see you guys! I was browsing around YouTube and I found a radio interview with Masa. I just came to realize how my lack of time to practice Japanese is damaging the years I spent studying. I'm confused by the usual lack of pronouns. I don't get it if Masa means to say he wants this to be the last Wonderland or HIS last Wonderland concert:

I hope it is okay to post it since it is a radio interview.

Welcome back, missed you :)

Hope it's not the last, was going to suggest a group meeting for the combined wonderland 2019 and 30th anniversary tour :D

Edit:-
I'll just drop this link in here as I can't think of a more appropriate place and it's related to the tour
This has to be the most random place I've seen a DCT reference

That's interesting :D
The logistics involved in concerts such as those must be very complex.

According to my wife, Masa says that when he thinks about his age, he wants to make this Wonderland his last. He will be over sixty in 2019. Because DWL 2019 will coincide with the thirtieth anniversary of DCT, he would be more interested in the production side of the tour. He says "For Miwa's sake, it would be a good thing." He says that it's difficult to look at the tour objectively while he's performing it. When asked if there will be a different kind of Wonderland after 2015, Masa said "I think I'm done," meaning he's not considering it. It sounds like he has not made a final decision, but this is his feeling at this time.

To us, it wouldn't be a Wonderland; it would be a solo tour.

First of all, I appreciate your wife's help to figure out the interview. :) Well, one could argue that Masa's role on their tours has been very limited recently and it doesn't seem to affect ticket sales. I have no doubt that Miwa could pull off going solo but for me, I'd be very sad about it being a huge Masa fan as I am. I could even argue that I have felt lately that Miwa would like the concerts to focus more on Joun really than Masa but... I'm going off topic here on the Wonderland thread.

I'm looking forward for the new Wonderland concert. I enjoyed Attack 25's concert a lot. :)

It's easy to read into this interview, but let's hope for the best... we would like to see them again performing together!

We haven't seen the 'Attack 25' concert video yet, but weren't that thrilled with the album (a first, sadly).

Nice to have you posting!
