Wonderland 2007

Post by nakoruru » Sun Jun 25, 2006 12:26 pm

There is a wee bit of info on DCTGarden about Wonderland 2007. It is actually going to happen... how depressing. Another Wonderland concert I will probably miss.

I agree with James we should all go :)
So is anyone here in a position to get a block booking of tickets?

The theme of Wonderland 2007 is "All dreams, come true. What are you dreaming about? For example: You will go to the concert and they will play your favorite song. For example: You will go on stage and sing with Miwa. For example: They will do something you would like them to do. More information to follow..."

I've said it before, and I hate to say it again, but I'm having a hard time imagining how DCT could top the 2002 Fillmore show, at least for us peeps who were standing right in front of the stage. I'm still in semi-shock, 4 years later :) if you've watched the WL videos, where Miwa spends a couple of phrases standing in one place out in the crowd -- we had that for over an hour, and we were much closer. And Masa was a few feet to the right.

To top that DCT would have to sing at my wedding or something :)

A WL video and a WL concert are two different experiences...trust me...:)
While I was much closer to M&M when I saw them in Vegas, it simply couldn't compare with WL2003 concerts I saw in Shiga. Not even close....scale (in this case) amplifies the experience :)

WL is the ultimate DCT concert. I'm sure the personalized experience of the Fillmore cannot be matched, short of them returning to the Fillmore, but WL is something I've been wanting to experience for about 11 years now.

I happen to agree with Tachikaze. Thus, I'd try to go to one of their stand alone tours like the current one than aiming at a Wonderland concert at first.
I'd like to watch both but I had to choose just one, it would be a normal tour.

I've been wondering if my system would be able to handle having Masa and Miwa on stage. I freak out in concerts and last time, I almost fainted as I was overcome with emotion. I'd probably have a blue screen at a DCT concert. ;)

I almost passed out at the fillmore. The embarassing thing was that Masa noticed and pointed it out to Miwa who in turn must have noticed.

San Francisco...........San Francisco...:) Imagine a wonderland stage at AT&T Park with the Bay Bridge in the background. Of course, The Fillmore would do nicely as well.
